How To Get Good Waves

It's super easy to get waves! There's no need to roll, twist or pull hair! Just pinch and release. It's the easiest way to get waves. Learn how to get lush waves with our hairstylist Kelly Arias.

Step 1. Preparation

Prepare your strands, make sure your hair is 100% dry.

Step 2. Wave

Set the heat to 210 C and separate the hair into four sections. Starting at the back an inch from the scalp, take small sections for a more defined wave or larger sections for bigger waves. Comb through hair and tie, holding for 5-10 seconds, releasing and following the same method to the ends, repeating all over the head.

Step 3. MADE

Once you've completed these 2 steps, make sure the hair has cooled completely before you begin your MADE regimen. Use your fingertips, a brush or a large wide-tooth comb and gently brush your waves to achieve the look you want. Finish with a soft, convenient spray. I love adding KEVIN MURPHY powder to the roots and shine.

"No other styling tool can give hair the sexy, tousled look that Cenola does. Once you've done your first clip and released the hair, tighten the top of the hair on the last crease of the wave. This will create a wave from roots to ends. If you're looking for a wider wave, leave out an inch or two of your ends, keeping them straighter. "
